Háifoss waterfalls (Iceland)

 

A fall of more than 120 meters, water takes more than 10 seconds to reach the river from the top of the Háifoss falls. At the same time, light is penetrating the water at 186,000 miles/second, resulting in a vivid collision of light and water. 

 

Háifoss waterfall (front left) is the fourth tallest in Iceland and sits next to its sibling, Granni (back right). Both waterfalls are in situated in southern Iceland near the Hekla volcano.
